Un référentiel européen pour la ville durable
« The Reference Framework for European Sustainable Cities (RFSC) is an online toolkit designed to help cities promote and enhance their work on integrated sustainable urban development. It is available free of charge to all European local authorities and offers practical support in integrating sustainability principles into local policies and actions.
A joint initiative of the Member States, the European Commission and European organizations of local governments, the RFSC gives a common space and language to the community of cities that are interested in learning from each other, while respecting the diversity of local priorities. »
Smart Cities and Communities Stakeholder Platform
« Smart Cities and Communities Stakeholder Platform is a new European Initiative. Contributing to the goals of the European Commission’s Strategic Energy Technologies Plan (SET-Plan), the platform brings together local stakeholders to identify and review technological solutions which help making European cities smarter by deploying innovative technologies in sectors such as mobility, buildings and energy networks. By now, more than 150 such solutions were shared on the Platform. Through the platform it is possible to directly contact the solution providers. In this article 2 distinct solutions in the field of energy efficiency and sustainable public transport are highlighted. »
